One stop shop for original art, print and designer toys - The Richard Goodall Gallery in the Northern Quarter. One of my favourite haunts at University in Manchester. I particularly love the rock band art - Jason Munn's The Small Stakes is worth a look.

Finally, a Jimmie Martin showroom right around the corner. Ever since I spotted their Flamingo chairs I have been smitten!

Jaime Hayon for Lladro.

Lladro porcelain is normally a bit sickly sweet for me but Jaime Hayon's collection has hit the spot. Always whimsical, never dull but for 1600 quid a pop I'll have to admire from afar.

Itay Ohaly's art piece, 'Elavated bench', has sent me on a romantic daydream. And just in time for Valentines Day too. As I'm sure most people have attempted to climb a lamp post on a night out, these handy staircases make the journey up a whole lot easier - and with a seat made for two!
